Flow Control Valves In Hydraulic Systems are categorized into 2 types. One is the pressure compensation and the other is the non-pressure compensation. In the Pressure Compensated Flow Valve the flow through the valve is fixed with varying work pressure. Whereas the non-pressure compensation is operated by manual throttling of oil passage. The pressure compensated valves can be further bifurcated into 2 types. Hydraulic Flow Restrictor and the bypass type flow control valve.
